2.  The docket of clinics are presented by the icons/luminaries in our profession; the faculty is second-to-none.  Because they are MASTER TEACHERS, they make themselves available AT ALL TIMES throughout the event, along with the popular one-on-one sessions.  (Faculty includes:  Paula Crider, Richard Saucedo, Frank Tracz, Amanda Drinkwater, Dean Westman, Frank Troyka, Marcia Neel, and more...)

6.  The food at Conn-Selmer Institute is great (a huge understatement); it is plentiful and delectable!  From Sunday evening to Wednesday morning, there are EIGHT/8 full-scale buffet meals served...but the BEST PART IS, you can enjoy a relaxed meal with many of your music education heroes and enjoy a chance to be learning more about them, and allow them to learn more about YOU.

7.  Our partnering-exhibitors are key members of our Conn-Selmer family;  they are available on A  VERY PERSONAL BASIS...from having a meal with them (gratis), to spending large chunks of time discussing personal wants/needs, and, most importantly, creating lifelong relationships based on the one-on-one exchange.

Why a College Student Should Attend CSI

Dr. Tim said he had some scholarships to hand out for a conference that "was full of people who embodied what LITA was about", but they were first come first serve! Because I took advantage of this opportunity and experienced the Institute, I return to the Institute because I love the new people I meet and enjoy experiences I am able to take part in, WE/US! I am able to make immediate connections with people, to network, and to gain valuable insight from another persons’ perspective. I have made contacts and kept in touch with people who believe in what LITA/CSI is and the people involved. It's all about drive, being proactive, and honestly a lot of love. It takes all three to keep going, to reach out, to make the best better, and to constantly strive to help people. - Jeramiah Bowman
